Speaker: Jay Roy, Founder, and CEO of Next Generation Health Analytics 
About the speaker:

Mr. Jay Roy is a business and IT executive with more than 25 years of experience with expertise in customer and healthcare analytics. His career spans corporate, consulting, entrepreneur, and educator.
He enjoys family time with his wife and 7 dogs in Nashville, Tennessee.

Summary:

Mr. Roy spent the first 15 years as a financial professional rising to senior financial ranks as CFO of a technology company. He is a CPA and CMA.  
Mr. Roy’s entrepreneurial ventures include two data analytics start-ups. He consults with healthcare technology startups and mentors technology startups with the Nashville Entrepreneurial Center.
Over the last 10 years, Mr. Roy held various senior-level IT roles at several healthcare and technology companies. He was the CIO of a healthcare toxicology testing company in Dallas, TX.
As an analytics professional, he enjoys evangelizing the use of data skills including Python, R programming to solve business, customer, and healthcare problems.

Moreover, he has spoken at a variety of data analytics conferences including the 2019 and 2021 Nashville Analytics Summit and is a Judge for the 2020 Nashville Analytics Summit. He leads the Nashville BI and Analytics Peer Group for the Nashville Technology Council.
As an educator, he teaches at local IT boot camps and is an Adjunct Professor of predictive analytics at Jack C. Massey College of Business, Belmont University for the undergraduate and graduate business program.
