Calling for nominations for the following open positions:
Chapter Secretary
The role of the Secretary is to maintain all chapter records in regards to Board Members, Committees and General Membership, record all motions and decisions of Board meetings, ensure all Board members are notified of the time and location of the Board meetings, be a designated signer for official Chapter business (such as bank accounts, bylaws and other chapter business), work closely with the President and VP, Finance to ensure the ongoing business feasibility of the San Diego Chapter. Together with the President and VP, Finance, the Secretary makes up the Executive Committee of the Board.
Vice President, Professional Development
All Vice President roles have the responsibility to act in absence of the President to conduct business on behalf of the Chapter. The focus of the VP, Professional Development is to ensure the ongoing education of our local chapter members and meeting participants. Duties include overseeing the coordination of speakers for monthly Chapter meetings, organization of study groups to promote certification from the International Institute Business Analysis and other efforts to promote professional development for the profession of Business Analysis within San Diego County.
Vice President, Marketing & Communications
All Vice President roles have the responsibility to act in absence of the President to conduct business on behalf of the Chapter. The focus of the VP, Marketing and Communications is to ensure the outreach and communication efforts for the local chapter. This includes ensuring timely announcements of monthly meetings, speaking to local businesses regarding the benefits of the IIBA, securing sponsorship at all levels for the local chapter and surveying the membership to determine if the Chapter is meeting the needs of its members and attendees.
